Fortis is our single origin Asia-Pacific coffee. Mostly from Sumatra, this coffee is the perfect choice for some earthy dark-roast espresso.
This year we sourced this coffee from the Sumatra region, from Bener Meriah. This coffee gives us notes of dark chocolate (like 80% dark chocolate) that provides most of its cocoa tastes with bitterness slightly sweet vanilla. It has low acidity, and in some of the samples we cupped, the acidity was very close to the dried cherry notes that matched with its bitterness.
